The Nationwide PrimeTime Expo kicked off this past weekend at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix. The primary focus at the 58th iteration of PrimeTime is the Shopper Journey, an increasingly important topic in today’s omnichannel retail landscape. In addition to keynotes by adventurist Erik Weihenmayerand Nationwide President and Chief Member Advocate Tom Hickman, the gathering features special educational sessions through the Nationwide Learning Academy (NLA) and other presentations covering 14 different subject areas, everything from digital marketing and financial services to website management and in-store experience. With almost 200 vendor exhibitors, the exhibition floor is busy and includes more space dedicated to the consumer electronics (CE) space than ever before. The outdoor and luxury appliance spaces are growing, which is why the event includes two special areas dedicated to them: Luxury University, which is a dedicated space on the PrimeTime exhibition floor, and PrimeTime BackYard showcase, an area featuring outdoor vendor exhibits along with food and beverage sampling.
